It’s no secret that kids today spend more time in front of screens than outdoors. At Huffy, we believe learning to ride a bike is one of the best ways to build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of movement.
That’s why we partnered with Pedal Kids USA, a national organization focused on teaching kids how to ride, to evaluate how well our new Grow Ride Move (GRM) bikes support learning.
Putting GRM Kids' Bikes to the Test
The Grow Ride Move lineup was designed to make learning to ride as simple and confidence-boosting as possible. While GRM bikes undergo extensive in-house and lab testing, we wanted feedback from the experts who teach kids how to ride every day.
Pedal Kids hosted an action-packed playground event near their headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, where coaches and young riders gave our bikes a trial run.
Kids quickly picked up the basics and confidently navigated ramps, obstacles, and turns. While the coaches had some great things to say as well.
What Coaches and Parents Loved
· Perfect Fit frame designed to support proper riding posture
· Thoughtful geometry that helps kids feel balanced and in control
· Fun colors and modern styling that kids were excited to ride
· An accessible price point parents appreciate
Most importantly, Pedal Kids coaches confirmed that GRM bikes are designed to teach the skills kids need to ride, making them ideal for first-time riders and kids who enjoy riding, too.
