Safety Recall

Torex UTV Ride-On Toy

Huffy Corporation and the Consumer Product Safety Commission are conducting a voluntary recall regarding the Torex Ride-On Toy (Models 17310 and 17249) due to a fire hazard. The reason for the recall is that connector degradation may lead to overheating, and in certain, very limited circumstances, units could smoke or even catch on fire.

Each Huffy product undergoes rigorous safety assessment and testing. The safety of our consumers and riders is of utmost importance to us. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled UTVs and contact Huffy Corporation to schedule a free repair. Consumers can have the repair done by a third party. Huffy Corporation will reimburse consumers up to $50 USD for charges incurred in the third party repair.
