NASCAR driver Chase Briscoe visited the Huffy U.S. headquarters for some fun!
It’s easy to say, “every day is different” at work. Even still, we didn’t know what to expect when NASCAR driver Chase Briscoe planned to visit Huffy. Chase made a special detour to our headquarters in Dayton as he headed from his race in Indy to his next challenge in Michigan.
Chase arrived alone, without an entourage or special requests for his visit. He spent his first hour touring our building with Huffy’s Marketing Director, Kris Parlett. Kris originally reached out to Chase in 2020, when iRacing was the NASCAR alternative early in the pandemic.

Chase got a look at historic bikes and photos throughout the building, highlighting Huffy from its beginning in 1892 to now. He especially appreciated the areas devoted to product design, innovation, and model building. It’s probably safe to say Chase was most awe-inspired by bicycles from VAAST, a performance brand from United Wheels featuring lightweight super magnesium frames.
The tour ended with Chase joining the employees outside for a cookout. Listening to the chatter, one thing was clear; whether you’re a lifelong NASCAR fan or haven’t ever watched a race, the chance to be up-close and personal with Chase was exciting.
Kris Parlett spoke to employees first, revealing the coincidence of calling Chase for the first time, just as Chase was on Huffy’s website shopping for a bike. That was 2020, when everyone was shopping for a bike – even race car drivers! Chase confirmed the story and added that his first memories of racing were imaginary races on his driveway with his Huffy bike.

Chase spoke about his determination to succeed in racing. He spent four years sleeping on couches before he scored his first Xfinity Truck Series win in Charlotte that started the momentum. Humble to the core, Chase said he never imagined himself where he is now in NASCAR. Listening to this easy-going guy, it’s hard to picture him transforming into a fierce competitor, traveling 200+ mph behind the wheel!
Last season’s NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year was happy to answer questions, sign hats, take photos, and just chat with employees. After all that, Chase was a great sport with photo and video requests from our Marketing team, having him doing everything from painting a bike to hanging out at the copier.
Chase made a lot of fans at Huffy on this day. Not just because he’s an amazing athlete and winning NASCAR driver, but because he’s the real deal.
Every day at work is different, but this one made an impact.
